Cut Table Operator Green Street Dalton 2nd shift - Mohawk Industries : Job Details

Operate equipment to cut, measure and/or wrap rolls of broadloom carpet or vinyl Inspect rolls for processing (cut tape, load core, pull tickets). Process roll into AS 400 and Alcon system by using hand-held scan gun. Inspect product for defects, damage, correct width and color/style and make necessary quality decisions. Be able to follow system instructions for reverse rolls Must understand quality standards and color codes Print and apply tickets and labels for identifications purposes. Observe operations of the equipment to detect malfunctions. Replace worn blades and tape rolls Other duties as assigned by supervision. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred Basic Computer skills Ability to read and write in standard English and numbers Some mechanical ability preferred Good attention to detail required Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with others Ability to apply common sense in understanding how to carry out detailed written or oral i...Operator, 2nd Shift, Operations, Manufacturing
