Valdese Weavers offers a positive, productive, and progressive environment, along with excellent benefits.Job Summary: Cut and package fabric discrete quantity fabrics offered through the cut yardage program according to customer orders Job Summary: Unload, relocate and pull for Import Product. Locate incoming Imported fabrics in a timely manner and pull for Outgoing shipments daily.Tools and Equipment used: Motorized equipment, general office supplies, scan gun, tablet, scissors. Essential Functions: Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards:

• Assist with unloading incoming Import shipments to include boxes and rolled goods.
• Locate received shipments into STK bins and IMP tubes/storage areas
• Pull for orders that need to be finished
• Located orders to be finished to the finishing department
• Pull for daily outgoing shipments, palletize goods as required
• Pull for Cut tables from upper storage units
• Relocate Velvets for go backs from CUT
• Work scheduled overtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Safety:

• Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
• Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
• Maintain 5 S standards.

Position Requirements Qualifications:

• Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Forklift license is required for moving buggies and lifting fabric to storage tubes.
• Basic computer skills and use of LXE gun.
