Goldman Sachs Private Bank Select (GS Select) is a market-leading high-tech/high-touch solution that allows third-party financial advisors to quickly and seamlessly offer digital banking products to their end clients. The business currently offers Securities Based Lines of Credit (SBLOCs) through a large network of these independent financial advisors, targeting affluent and High Net Worth clients. We are expanding and enhancing that platform to include a full range of core bank deposit and lending offerings, delivered in an integrated and client-friendly format through wealth management platforms.

GS Select is part of the larger Goldman Sachs Private Bank (the Bank), which offers a range of services that allow Goldman Sachs clients to consolidate and simplify the management of their financial assets and liabilities. The Bank provides tailored lending capabilities, including residential mortgages and loans secured by a range of assets, and cash management services, including cash sweeps, term deposits and a range of payment services, that are integrated into a clients investment accounts.

We are seeking a team player who can help lead the growth and expansion of our Global Private Bank's digital banking platform in new and exciting ways. Our team thrives in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a desire to be part of a team-oriented mission to build a new business are essential.

GS Select Bankers are responsible for all in-bound communication and requests from third party financial advisors and their end clients. Bankers will be delivering best-in-class service including: money transfers, account maintenance, transaction review, collateral health, product questions, etc. In addition, Bankers work closely with the sales teams and product experts to quickly respond to market needs and process improvements. This leadership position is a hybrid role that begins with a large project and evolves into a team manager role.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Lead a team of bankers as they field inbound calls and inquiries from Financial Advisors and their clients
  • Act as an expert resource for our Financial Advisor clients as to how GS Select banking products best serve their clients
  • Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Manage scheduling and capacity planning
  • Train the team on new products/procedures
  • Act as a subject matter expert in all things related to digital banking products and servicing
  • Establish strong working relationships with Regional Banking Directors and functional partners including Technology, Credit, Product, Operations, Compliance and Legal
  • Ensure strict adherence to policy, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Manage and execute assigned projects with time proficiency and ownership
  • Design the training of new and more junior teammates
Basic Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of financial services experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exemplary client service
  • Client-centric with an inherent sense of urgency
  • Team approach to projects and day-to-day operations
  • A clear propensity to be a leader, acting as both a subject matter expert but also an early mentor to more junior team members
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative, energetic, enthusiastic, and a self-starter
  • Ambitions to build a career in Private Banking

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project management experience related to a migration of team functions
  • Experience creating a new team
  • Knowledge of credit products and basic securities concepts
  • Experience in understanding the financial and borrowing needs of a wide range of clients and as part of a comprehensive wealth management strategy
