WarCollar Industries is seeking a highly skilled and driven Cyber Security Analyst with a strong background in both Operational (Offensive) and Cyber Security/Defensive roles to join our dynamic team. This tactical role is ideal for professionals passionate about cyber defense, vulnerability management, threat analysis, and offensive security strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and remediating vulnerabilities and weaknesses across our networks and systems.

As a Cyber Security Analyst at WarCollar Industries, you will work closely with various teams to maintain continuous situational awareness of cyber threats, collaborate on remediation efforts, and contribute to the development of security strategies. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cyber defense teams to maintain situational awareness of current and emerging cyber threats.
  • Analyze data to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities and weaknesses in systems and networks.
  • Provide detailed remediation and mitigation plans, track progress through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct research on threat actors, malware, exploit methods, and vulnerabilities to stay up-to-date with current cyber threats.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive cyber threat reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to the implementation of processes, procedures, and technological solutions to enhance operational security programs.
  • Respond to internal team and stakeholder inquiries regarding vulnerabilities and related topics.
  • Work with peers to identify cyber gaps and collaborate on developing solutions to address them.
  • Conduct proactive data gathering to understand the political, economic, and behavioral aspects of threats and threat actors.
  • Assist with threat data enrichment, curation, automation, and dissemination within a threat intelligence platform.
  • Leverage both offensive and defensive cyber skills to identify and proactively address vulnerabilities across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 6+ additional years of relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or a related field.
  • Strong background in both Offensive (Operational) and Defensive Cyber Security roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of types of vulnerabilities, network attacks, and current industry threats.
  • Experience with data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and tools.
  • Ability to travel locally and nationally as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CEH).
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Experience with process improvement and implementation.
  • Proficiency with tools including Confluence, ServiceNow, JIRA, Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel.
