CYBER SECURITY ANALYST - Synectics : Job Details

Description On site work supporting Cyber equipment for nuclear site. Supporting the Clinton station operations SIM, under the Cyber Security program Simulator is for plant quality upkeep (essentially a 1-for-1 replica of a real plant control room, utilized for simulating nuclear power plant operations) Managing kiosks, desktops, and other common IT assets in an air-gapped environment Reviewing simulator Splunk logs Qualifications : Prefer a degree in cyber security-related field (will consider experience in lieu of degree) Must follow procedures and have excellent documentation skills. 1-3 years in a cyber security incident response position desired Passionate about cyber security 3 years' experience supporting Windows 7 & 10 desktops Knowledge of basic IP networking Knowledge of logging (interpreting) Benefits: Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois. Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus.
