Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Engineer to conduct risk assessments using industry-standard frameworks such as NIST CSF, IEC 62443 3-2, and others. This role involves analyzing cybersecurity risks, defining cybersecurity architecture, and ensuring cybersecurity assurance levels are met. The position will involve working with suppliers and third parties to identify and mitigate risks in embedded and OT/Industrial systems.Job Title: Cybersecurity Risk Assessment EngineerLocation: Rochester, NYPay Rate: $65/hourContract Duration: 12 monthsKey Responsibilities:Conduct risk assessments using industry standard frameworks (NIST CSF, IEC 62443 3-2, etc.) based on the project context.Analyze and allocate cybersecurity architecture and requirements.Cascade cybersecurity requirements to suppliers and identify third-party risks.Apply and manage Cybersecurity Assurance Levels (CAL).Use tools such as Fence or equivalent for conducting risk assessments.Perform cybersecurity risk analysis using established methodologies.Provide insights and recommendations to mitigate cybersecurity risks in embedded systems or OT/Industrial systems (railway, aeronautics, etc.).Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.Must have:Need to perform Risk Assessment for a CityFlo (UrbalisFlo) project based on IEC 62443 3-2Having an understanding on Alstom Risk assessment process and having experience using Fence tool is preferable.Qualifications:Experience:Proven experience in conducting cybersecurity risk assessments.Hands-on experience with NIST CSF, IEC 62443 3-2, and other relevant frameworks.Experience with embedded systems and OT/Industrial systems (e.g., railway, aeronautics).Skills & Knowledge:Strong understanding of cybersecurity risk analysis methods and tools.Familiarity with ISO 2700X, 62443, NIST, APTA standards and regulations.Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and areas relevant to embedded and OT/Industrial systems.Why Join Us?Work on exciting and impactful projects in cybersecurity within embedded and OT/Industrial systems.Opportunity to collaborate with leading experts and external stakeholders.Competitive pay rate for your expertise and experience.Apply now and be a key player in our cybersecurity risk assessment initiatives!
