This individual will lead a team of technical staff, managed service providers, and collaborate with various stakeholders to develop, implement, and oversee the cybersecurity strategy.Key Responsibilities: Oversee a team of cybersecurity professionals, leading daily operations. Assisting with staffing decisions and professional development. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, ensuring alignment with organizational and department objectives.Assist with the development and maintenance of the cybersecurity program, ensuring adherence to information security standards and procedures. Lead the implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems.Oversee incident response planning and manage the investigation of security breaches. Assist with legal matters associated with incidents, requests, and breaches as necessary.Contribute to the creation of strategic cybersecurity roadmaps, including multi-year plans that align with organizational goals and risk assessment methodologies. Stay current with industry developments and apply knowledge to enhance our security posture.Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, and other relevant agencies. Manage partnerships with vendors to ensure quality and consistency of security services.Preferred Key Competencies: In-depth technical knowledge of operating systems and security technologies.Strong understanding of networking, data structures, directory systems, the internet, and regulatory frameworks (NIST CSF, HIPAA, etc.)Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to assist with the management and develop high-performing teams.#J-18808-Ljbffr
