Job role: Cybersecurity Project Manager
Duration: Contract
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY - Onsite
What does it take to be an IT Project Manager? Required: - Strong experience in project managing and delivery of Cyber Security projects.
- Bachelor's degree; preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or other related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, SLDC, or Agile certification
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices
- 7+ years of experience managing projects within a matrixed or co-sourced environment
- Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups
- Strong relationship building / interpersonal skills and experience providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
- Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)
Preferred: - Experience in Energy & Utilities or services industry.
- Experience with Cybersecurity tools.
- Master's degree (in aforementioned fields)
- Experience with PPM tools, Jira, ServiceNow, or other.
- Experience in risk management, threat intelligence, and incident response.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or comparable
