Cycle Counter - Heartland RV : Job Details

Responsible for obtaining of a large variety of complex materials and services and develop appropriate stocking strategies in order to effectively support the production requirements of the plant. Primary Responsibilities: •Support production with daily on-time procurement of material •Maintain responsible levels of material at all times •Perform daily counts and submit purchase orders in accordance with established company policies and procedures •Communicate professionally at all levels within departments •Locate and select new and alternate sources of supply to meet the production requirements of the plant •Establish and maintain effective contacts and working relationships with vendors •Prepare and communicate product specifications to vendors for bid as appropriate and negotiate with the most favorable bidder(s) considering costs, quality, delivery, etc. •Award and administer purchase orders and agreements in accordance with established company policies and procedures •Facilitate semi-annual inventory processes •Other related tasks as necessary Requirements: •2+ years previous experience preferred, but not required •High School diploma or equivalent Preferred Skills: •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Strong time management and organizational skills •Strong self-motivation •Proficient in Microsoft Office Physical Requirements: •Ability to lift up to 20 lbs •Ability to work sitting and standing for 8-12 hours per day •Ability to wear required PPE and transverse throughout a manufacturing facility •Ability to work in varying weather conditions
