D/R SURVEILLANCE OFFICER SUPV - Resorts International : Job Details

Responsibilities

* May perform the duties of a Surveillance Officer.

* Observes activities of casino guests and employees.

* Monitors all casino operations, including table games, slots, cashiering cage and count rooms, by way of the closed circuit television (CCTV) system for criminal activity and/or violations of NJ regulations and company policies and procedures.

* Records and documents such activities where appropriate and reports the activities to appropriate officials.

* Monitors property alarms and communicates effectively with responding parties.

* Completes detailed incident reports and daily logs.

* Assists with training and mentoring of surveillance staff.

* Promotes positive public relations.

* Handles sensitive information and maintains confidentiality.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

* NOTE: EMPLOYEES MUST ADHERE TO THE REGULATIONS SET FORTH IN N.J.A.C. 13:69D-1.10 and 1.11, AND MUST SIGN AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THESE REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO BEING EMLOYED IN THE SURVEILLANCE DEPARTMENT.

Qualifications

* College degree, may substitute additional experience for degree.

* Minimum two (2) years of appropriate experience.

* Strong supervisory skills.

* Good technical and manual skills.

* Strong math and writing skills required.

* Strong computer skills required.

* Effective communication skills required.

* Knowledge of Casino Games preferred.

* NJ Casino Key License required.
