- Manage the execution and continuous improvement of damage prevention programs, as assigned, required to mitigate safety and regulatory compliance risk across LP Operations.
- Plan and execute organizational change management activities applicable to the Damage Prevention programs, including Operation & Maintenance Manuals revisions and program governance documentation, as examples.
- Support Damage Prevention's preparation for and response to internal and regulatory audits, inspections, and assessments, and confidently presenting evidence to auditors as a subject matter expert.
- Maintain expertise on the regulations, standards, and internal policies that govern and guide the Damage Prevention programs and ensure that the programs reflect any changes communicated through Regulatory Management of Changes and Management of Changes.
- Provide Damage Prevention Subject Matter Expertise for internal stakeholder groups as well as junior members of the team, building strong relationships wherein the stakeholders can trust Damage Prevention to provide timely and accurate responses.
- Participate or lead various internal and external (Industry) initiatives, working groups and committees requiring Damage Prevention expertise. Who You Are:
- Related university degree and six (6) plus years 'experience OR eight (8) plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
- Knowledge of and experience managing compliance of local and/or federal energy regulations.
- Experience communicating to a wide audience, including employees, all levels of management, industry associations and regulatory agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and manage change, be innovative, problem-solve, think strategically, and prioritize key tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage effective and collaborative work relationships across the organization to support technical objectives. Working Conditions:
- Primarily office environment.
- Some infrequent travel to field sites and/or Regional and Area Operations offices including travel within Canada and the US.
