The Data & AI Cloud Solution Architect Manager will manage and lead a team of Cloud Solution Architects with expertise across Data and AI, which support a region for a specific set of customers within the Northeast Region. You will need to demonstrate your expertise in leading Data and AI technical customer front facing teams, expertise in the Data and AI space, as well as driving a positive, inclusive and high energy culture.Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consultingOR equivalent experience3+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.Additional or Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consultingOR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consultingOR equivalent experience6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).6+ years experience leading technical projects, teams, or functionsTechnical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)5+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managersCloud Solution Architecture M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $248,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $268,900 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. In this role, you will lead the technical strategy and execution of Microsoft's Data & AI Services to deliver customer consumption and success. The Data & AI Cloud Solution Architect Manager is a Technical cloud leader with domain knowledge and experience in guiding customers across data estate migration, modernization, and transformation.  The combination of this expertise and experience best enables our  technical leaders to capture the opportunity and technical capabilities of Microsoft's Data & AI Services to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.  We are looking for a multi-faceted leader to lead and manage a team of Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs) aligned to the Data & AI business. As a manager, you will be accountable for the Data & AI business, and play a key role in developing the alignment and partnership with internal stakeholders (engineering and product leadership teams), and customer/partner stakeholders, inclusive of Business Development Managers and Technical Decision Makers (Chief Data Officer, Chief Analytics Officer, etc).  You will lead the Data & AI technical strategy and approach across the segments and customers in your region to drive growth of Azure Data Services.  Key responsibilities include:   The Data & AI Cloud Solution Architect Managerwill directly manage a team of Data and AI CSAs covering Enterprise customers in their respective territory.  Be a technical thought leader and build trust with key technical decision makers and influencers across customers and partners.  Provide clarity on enterprise wide data estate migration, modernization, transformation with respect to enterprise data architecture.  Be comfortable addressing topics like information security, data governance, and compliance. Experienced at building and maintaining relationships with delivery leaders from top Azure Data Global System Integrators and Partners.  Possess exceptional cross-team collaboration and communication skills. Be effective at partnering with all required Microsoft stakeholders in the subsidiary to drive role clarity, account coverage, project assignment and effective cross-team collaboration Hire, on-board, and develop Data & AI CSAs. Be able to set a clear bar for excellence and build a high performing team that will be diverse and inclusive. Coach and enable teams to accelerate Azure Data & AI projects from architecture, pilot, to production, including guidance on architectural design, technical recommendations, blocker escalations and technical resource orchestration  Develop connections with product and engineering leaders to facilitate thought leadership with customers, and act as voice of the customer and advocate for product related feedback Ensure your team delivers high quality production deployments that are resilient and successful Drive operational excellence, including timely consumption engagement management and high-quality reporting and insights In addition, you drive adherence to Microsoft standards and recommended practices by setting expectations for the team around methodology and governance to ensure that the team identifies, communicates, and minimizes business and technical risks.
