The NYC Department of Education's Tax Policy & Data Analytics Division is dedicated to analyzing and evaluating policies and legislation impacting the city. The team works to review revenue and distributional impacts, monitor tax revenues, and provide advice on revenue and budgetary issues.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Assist with ad hoc research and policy evaluation projects.
• Construct regression models to estimate market values for residential and commercial properties.
• Create analytical tables for the Annual Property Tax Report and Annual Report on Tax Expenditures.
• Present research findings to senior management and attend weekly meetings.
