Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an experienced Data Analyst in Financial Analytics for a management organization that specializes in managing healthcare assisted-living facilities through innovative management and data-driven decision making. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of leveraging advanced analytics to drive financial performance, strategic decision-making, and operational efficiency. This role involves designing predictive models, leading financial analysis initiatives, and providing strategic insights that enhance organizational performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Forecasting Performance Metrics:

  • Gather and analyze historical data from previous months and years to forecast future performance.
  • Develop predictive models to estimate occupancy rates, revenue projections, and other key performance indicators for upcoming months and years.

Cost of Acquisition Analysis:

  • Calculate the cost of acquisition per resident by analyzing expenses versus reimbursements.
  • Provide insights into the financial impact of marketing and outreach activities aimed at resident acquisition.

Expense Efficiency Analysis:

  • Analyze operational data to identify areas where expenses can be reduced without compromising service quality.
  • Detect anomalies in spending patterns and propose actionable solutions to address them.

Reporting and Visualization:

  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and assisted-living management.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements based on analytical findings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the healthcare or assisted-living sector.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable format.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
