Job Description :

As a Data Analyst at Last Bottle Wines Inc., Digital Beverage Group (DBG), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our ecommerce operations. By managing and optimizing product data across all our retail properties, you will directly influence the customer experience and drive revenue growth. Your expertise in analyzing behavioral and transactional data will uncover insights that propel our business forward. You will collaborate with product and technology teams to develop data models and specifications and provide analysis on potential acquisition targets. You will be an essential part of a growing team that is a leading player in wine ecommerce.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Own and execute processes for managing product data across internal databases and ecommerce systems
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams to develop data models and specifications for new and existing systems
  • Analyze ecommerce behavioral and transactional data to identify trends and insights
  • Analyze data from potential acquisition targets and make informed recommendations based on your analysis
  • Compile and enter new product and pricing data into internal systems for ecommerce operations and training learning models
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all retail properties and internal systems
  • Provide actionable insights and reports to support decision-making processes
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data into ecommerce platforms

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in ecommerce or retail
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights
  • Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and data management tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data modeling and statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and training learning models
  • Understanding of ecommerce merchandising and product data management
