The CCBHC Data Analyst assists the Director in coordination, collection, interpretation and analysis of data. This employee will also work with other QI Projects to monitor and benchmark cost, utilization and other quality and performance indicators; monitor for adverse trends; recommend modifications and corrective action; assist quality improvement project teams in design and implementation. This position works with IT to identify solutions and meet deadlines associated critical data processes.Data Analyst Responsibilities:Data collection, analysis, and reporting.Develop strategies to improve data collection and outcome improvement.Analyzes QI data to support the QI department in identifying opportunities for improvement, e.g., analyzing performance trends and variation by key demographic strata.Analyze and evaluate various sources of data in support of internal customers to improve quality and further the goals and objectives of the organization.Monitors and analyzes outcomes to ensure goals, objectives, outcomes, accreditation and regulatory requirements are met.Produce and analyze reports that monitor and benchmark cost, utilization and other quality and performance indicators.Monitor for adverse trends, recommend modifications and corrective action.Identify and implement standardized monitoring tools to oversee quality.Communicates programs, interventions and results to external entities in accordance with applicable program objectives, policies and procedures.Researches best practices, national and regional benchmarks, and industry standards.Supports customer understanding of analytical findings through effective presentation of results to individuals and groups.Participates in relevant committees and work groups; makes presentations; prepares reports, data or other materials for committee presentation.Participates in departmental evaluation, audit and improvement activities.Manages multiple projects by effectively prioritizing work and communicating workload issues to management.Demonstrates the values of diversity, equity and belonging; foster an inclusive environment that facilitates diversity.Identifies and reports on Untoward Incidents as required.Participates in and complete all required trainings.Carries out agency policies and procedures.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in pertinent field (nursing; healthcare; mental health; public health; health care administration; or similar field) with at least three-five years of experience in a health care setting, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with structured medical record review and abstraction.Proven ability to design and monitor complex quality performance measurement and improvement initiatives.
