Job Description :

NextGen Federal Systems, LLC (NextGen) is seeking several Data Analysts to work on our Operational Analysis Support contract in the 618th Air Operations Center at Scott AFB. Data Analysts will focus on AMC missions such as contingency force movement, tanker, passenger, and cargo information to tell AMC's true story. They will assist the 618 AOC (TACC), 18 AF, AMC and USTRANSCOM by developing requirements, business rules, and metrics which capture and analyze data in light of system changes or deficiencies. They will create predictive analytics, to scientifically measure demand against capacity and drive the strategies to mitigate excessive demand in order to satisfy customer requirements and achieve national objectives.

Primary Work Location: Scott AFB IL

Specific Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting airlift, aerial refueling or similar data for customers
  • Experience with air transportation systems, such as GDSS, GATES, SMS, JOPES, and GTN or similar Federal or commercial systems
  • Skilled in transportation policies, procedures, concepts principles, practices, and operational execution
  • Able to accomplish studies as well as analysis of transportation delivery methodologies. Produce products on a tight timeline for executive level briefings

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in air transportation and logistics operations.
  • Provides support, advice and guidance on the correct application of a services/products/technology solution or technique.
  • Designs, develops, and implements solutions by using standard methods, techniques, and tools.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, other related field or equivalent experience/certifications
