Data Analyst - The Judge Group : Job Details

Our client is currently seeking an Alteryx Data Analyst

This position is Hybrid to Downtown Chicago (3 days onsite per week)

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Excel, including advanced use of macros, a strong background in SQL queries, and a proven track record of working with Alteryx workflows. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and manage their own tasks without direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Excel spreadsheets, including the use of macros.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
• Design, build, and maintain Alteryx workflows to support various data analysis and reporting needs.
• Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to understand operational questions and provide data-driven solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports and analyses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline).
• hands-on experience with Alteryx, working on workflows.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced macros.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
• Experience with DB2 relational databases
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other data analysis tools and software.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
