Job Description :
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance for business operations and application development to ensure application is running optimally in production, test, and development environments.
- Respond to production issues by reporting, logging, escalating, and tracking issues through resolution.
- Provide on call support to handle application or infrastructure production issues.
- Attain knowledge of the application and the infrastructure to conduct troubleshooting.
- Support and monitor Cloud hosted applications.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving, often looking beyond the obvious solution to a problem and digging deeper for the best solution.
- Write scripts, reviews scripts for others, and review output.
- Manage change requests to include entering, monitoring and follow-up.
- Analyze details of issues to provide cause and resolution using AppDynamics and Splunk
- Support testing of production fixes to ensure resolution following Software Development Life Cycle and Agile.
- Communicate complicated application issues to varied audiences, some with limited technical knowledge.
- Use automated monitoring and job scheduling alerts to act on potential production issues.
Qualifications
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Proficient in technologies such as LDAP/PKI Directory, Meta Directory, Domain Name Services (DNS), web application firewalls, enterprise firewalls, proxy/caching services, routing/switching, load balancing, information security, network security.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to share production activity and business status with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of file transfer mechanisms
- Knowledge of user provisioning and maintenance within Identity Management systems
- XML data cleansing and can create and complete SQL queries.
- Can provide weekend and after-hours support.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident with 3 years of US Residency
