Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Data/Analytics Engineer:

  • Develop and maintain Snowflake data pipelines to support business intelligence and operational analytics.
  • Create data visualizations using Sigma (or Tableau/Power BI as an alternative) to deliver insights to stakeholders.
  • Write Python scripts for data automation, manipulation, and integration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements for manufacturing and supply chain data products and ensure seamless data flow.
  • Provide weekly project updates, identifying missing data, documentation needs, and gaps in the process.
  • Work within Medallion Architecture for structured and efficient data management.
  • Optimize queries and pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Proactively communicate and problem-solve to drive project success without waiting for direct instructions.

Required Skills for the Data/Analytics Engineer:

  • Proven experience with Snowflake, including building and managing data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI for creating actionable data visualizations.
  • Strong Python scripting skills for automation and data integration.
  • Understanding of Medallion Architecture and how it applies to data schemas.
  • Experience in manufacturing and supply chain analytics is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain data insights and project needs to team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and contribute to a growing data team.
