Requirements Duties and Responsibilities:Processes all information related to a student's admission record in compliance with state, institutional, federal and accrediting agency regulations and requirements
- Processes, reviews, verifies, and assesses applications and supporting documentation in accordance with established guidelines to determine admission eligibility and to ensure accuracy and completeness including but not limited to:
- Applications for admission, scanning of required admission documentation (high school transcripts, ACT/SAT scores, transfer transcripts, etc), and transfer and/or undergraduate transcript evaluation (TDI)
- Support the enrollment goals of the university
- Participate in cross-training throughout the department
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a minimum of one-year experience directly related to the duties specified.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work professionally and effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Capacity to perform routine and moderately complex clerical and typing/data entry tasks rapidly and accurately
- Capacity to write clear and concise reports
- Ability to meet deadlines while working in an environment of constant interruptions via e-mail, telephone and walk-in traffic
- Ability to understand and convey procedures and regulations established
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude
Working Conditions Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
- Work is sedentary in nature that at times requires exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or consistent amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Work is normally performed during regular work hours in a non-smoking facility, some evening and weekend work may be required.
