SUMMARY

The Data Architect is essential to ensure proper development & integration of optimization efforts to ensure continued evolution towards the implementation of IoT infrastructure technologies and the inclusion of proactive maintenance capabilities. The Data Architect will oversee the technical approach and roadmap to meet the customer's needs and align with its business strategies and goals. This includes designing data infrastructure strategies, including the overall enterprise approach for a data management framework, data security, and compliance.

As a federal contractor, CNI is a drug-free workplace and adheres to the Federal Controlled Substance Act.

Must be able to pass a customer background check for access to facilities, equipment and property.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Preference will be given to DoD or Federal Government industry experience.

Certification at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II level. These include CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CND, SSCP.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assists stakeholders in developing and maintain the overall data architecture strategy and roadmap.

Performs technical oversight, quality assurance, identifies and manages risks, issues, and gaps in solution architecture and delivery.

Designs and implements data models, data integration processes, and data storage solutions.

Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Assists in defining and enforcing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

Evaluates and select appropriate data management tools, technologies, and techniques to support the organization's data architecture.

Leads the design and implementation of data warehouses, data marts, and other data repositories.

Develops and maintains data standards, data dictionaries, and data lineage documentation.

Collaborates with developers and database administrators to optimize data access and performance.

Conducts data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend solutions.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and data management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Computer Programming, or related field from an accredited educational institution and a minimum of 6 years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Preference will be given to DoD or Federal Government industry experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The pay range for this role is 118K - 153K This salary range is representative of the various ranges found within the professional sector across the United States, with the final offer amount dependent on location, skillset, and experience.
