Our client (a world leading hedge fund) seeks an experienced hands-on Data Center Manager to oversee their multiple data sites in the NY Metro Area (position is located in NJ).
Responsibilities:
Oversee the operations and capacity of data centersOffer mentorship and guidance to technicians and other team members to foster their professional growthConstruct, deploy, and resolve issues with servers, storage systems, network devices, and copper/fiber cablingIntroduce improvements to procedures and protocolsCoordinate daily tasks and workflowsAid in forecasting future site needsManage vendor relationshipsRequirements:
A minimum of 8 years of expertise in overseeing data center operations and leading teamsProficiency in building, deploying, and troubleshooting servers, storage systems, network devices, and copper/fiber cablingDemonstrated aptitude in project management and successful delivery of projectsProven ability to effectively manage vendor relationships and drive positive outcomesExceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail#J-18808-Ljbffr
