Data Center Construction Manager MEP

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Center MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) QC (Quality Control) Construction Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within MEP construction activities in data center projects. This role requires a strong background in MEP systems, rigorous attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of MEP installations to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and project plans.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and checklists specific to MEP systems in data centers.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and engineers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Review and approve MEP submittals and shop drawings to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions taken.
- Provide training and guidance to construction teams on quality standards and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to progress reports related to MEP quality control.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP quality control or construction management, preferably within data centers.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, and quality assurance practices.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Quality Control or Quality Assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor).
- Familiarity with data center operations and best practices.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and project management applications.
Location: Canton, MS
Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $140,000 to $155,000 based on experience.
