Data center technician - IES Communications, LLC : Job Details

The Lead Data Center Technician will support both the Physical and Virtual Infrastructure of the organization and its facilities. The Lead Data Center Tech will drive data center best practice and relative industry standards into working processes and procedures as/where applicable. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Directly support and coordinate all scheduled data center MA - Cs based on set DCIT calendar event scheduling Implements cable work order (CWO) MA - Cs, testing and certification, and can assist with crafting LV project BOM and scope documents Asset auditing and daily error logs Provide equipment installation MA - Cs, including device labelling, power connectivity and LV cable connectivity and proper cable dressing Provide smart-hands assistance as required Maintain a safe and secure operating environment within the GPN data center, and report any violations to DCIT immediately as necessary Concise, detailed documentation and record keeping relative to asset installation lay...Technician, Communications, Data, High School, Construction, Business Services
