About the Role: Job Summary Collects, reviews, and inputs data into a computer processing system; audits output data. Identifies and resolves production related errors. Maintains and revises procedural lists, control records, and invoices. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within NGHS Nutrition Services Department. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Minimum Job Qualifications Licensure or other certifications: Educational Requirements: High School Diploma Minimum Experience: Two (2) - three (3) years experience in food service industry or in environment using computer software for tracking and inventory Other: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Job Qualifications Preferred Licensure or other certifications: Preferred Educational Requirements: Preferred Experience: Other: Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet, and email Customer Service skills to work with outside vendors and suppliers Good communication skills to communicate with staff, vendors, and management Good reasoning and judgment abilities to identify system errors and software malfunctions. Good organizational skills to sort, organize, and distribute invoices correctly Essential Tasks and Responsibilities Facilitates employee communication through email and internet. Oversees verification of daily cash deposits. Records and deposits cafeteria revenue and change order. Processes invoices by vendor and category. Prepares weekly reports in Efinance. Assists in editing or adding employee time punches in Kronos. Reconciles Horizon register reports. Work with Horizon to troubleshoot various issues and also retrieve transactions manually. Oversees online ordering software for floor stock and/or supplies. Responsible for coding with appropriate GL Account number and cost codes for department charges and other minor billing. Responsible for accurate charging of food purchased from the cafeteria and/or doctor's lounge. Updates prices for various department functions and floor stock, as well as, individual item sales within department. Manages Patron payroll deduct feature on Horizon software. Serves as additional resource person within department and for outside facilities by assisting with questions regarding catering events, register reporting issues, departments cash overages/shortages, and other various employee related issues. Identifies appropriate person(s) to answer questions and/or resolve departmental and interdepartmental issues.
