Join us today!Job Description - Data Coordinator (2400095L) Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) is seeking a Data Coordinator in the Individual Homelessness Unit in the Division of Housing Stabilization!AGENCY MISSION:The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) is charged with creating more homes in Massachusetts and lowering housing costs for residents.Formerly known as the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), EOHLC works with municipalities, local housing authorities, non-profit organizations, and development partners to provide affordable housing options, financial assistance, and other support to Massachusetts communities.The DHS Data Coordinator/Program Coordinator II will work with Homeless Youth Services (HYS) at the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (HYS) as well as with the Balance of State (BoS) Continuum of Care (CoC) in the Division of Housing Stabilization (DHS) in the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities to support the design and implementation of a state-wide data system focused on youth and young adults at-risk of, or experiencing homelessness. Under the supervision of the DHS Emergency Solutions Grant Coordinator, this position will act as a liaison between HYS-funded organizations, CoCs across the Commonwealth, and the Homeless Information Management System (HMIS) vendor to create a system of data collection and reporting that captures information at an organizational level, by CoC geography, and across the Commonwealth.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE): Data Collection & Reporting:Work with the data vendor at Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) to create a system of data collection, sharing, and reporting between HYS vendors, CoCs across the Commonwealth, and the state Rehousing Data Collective (RDC).Data Standards & Reviewing:Participate in a review of required HMIS data elements to ensure compatibility between all systems.Compare U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HMIS data standards with those required in HYS programs to identify areas of compatibility and difference.Work with the data vendor, HYS and EOHLC to align HMIS data fields and ensure data elements include BIPOC and LGBTQ+ data.Support the ten HYS lead agencies in implementing the new data system.Support CoCs as they work with their HMIS vendors to implement Youth and Young Adult (YYA)-specific reporting and data gathering.Work with EOHLC and CoCs in MA to pilot Youth and YYA data-matching statewide in the RDC.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in program analysis, program management, program coordination, or program planning.Demonstrated proficiency in using both Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to handle multiple priorities.COMMENTS: Please upload resume and cover letter.This is a federally-funded position and is subject to renewal of federal funds.This position would be expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days, as needed.Salary placement is determined by years of experience and education directly related to the position and the Human Resources Division's Recruiting Guidelines.
