Metadata Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Metadata Coordinator to manage, organize, and ensure the accuracy and consistency of metadata across various digital assets and information systems. This role involves coordinating metadata creation, updating, and quality control processes to ensure seamless data retrieval, storage, and management across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, an understanding of metadata standards, and a passion for maintaining high-quality information system
Key Responsibilitie
- s:Metadata Creation & Management: Create, maintain, and update metadata for digital assets (documents, images, videos, etc.), ensuring that all metadata fields are accurately populated and adhere to established standard
- s.Quality Control: Perform regular checks to ensure the consistency and accuracy of metadata across systems, ensuring high-quality data is available for retrieval and analysi
- s.Data Cataloging: Organize and categorize assets in digital repositories, ensuring they are tagged with appropriate and searchable metadat
- a.Standard Compliance: Ensure that metadata follows established industry standards (e.g., Dublin Core, IPTC, MODS) and best practices, while also meeting organizational need
- s.Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (e.g., IT, library, content, and digital teams) to ensure the effective management of metadata across platform
- s.Data Import/Export: Oversee the import/export of metadata between various platforms, ensuring data integrity during these processe

s.Qualification
- s:Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Library Science, Computer Science, or related fiel
- d.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in metadata management, digital asset management, or related data management role
- s.Technical Skills: Proficiency in metadata standards (Dublin Core, IPTC, etc.), knowledge of content management systems (CMS), and familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) tool
- s.Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality, accurate metadat
- a.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholder
