In this role, you will architect, develop, and maintain our data infrastructure and pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, reliability, and scalability, enabling impactful AI-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and ETL processes
- Architect and manage data storage solutions, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and security
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Develop and maintain robust data models, schemas, and documentation for data warehouses and data lakes
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of data pipelines and systems
- Implement best practices for data quality, consistency, and governance across various data sources and systems
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and AI and incorporate them into the team's practices
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Extensive experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar
- Proficiency with Python
- Expertise working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services
- Proficiency in data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks)
- In-depth knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools
- Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data privacy and security
- Experience with mentoring other engineers
- Proven track record of contributing to strategic data initiatives
- Hands-on experience working with Snowflake or Databricks
