Data Engineer - Apex Systems : Job Details

Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated FTE to join our Data & Insights team with Vizient experience. This role is crucial for meeting the strategic needs of the organization by developing and managing data pipelines, facilitating database discussions, and ensuring optimal data management practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scripts using Unix, Python, and other technologies for data loading, extraction, and transformation.
• Implement ETL pipelines within and outside of a data warehouse using Python and Snowflakes Snow SQL.
• Build data ingestion pipelines using Fivetran and Vizient CDB.
• Facilitate and lead discussions on database requirements, data modeling, normalization, and query optimization across teams.
• Provide problem-solving and architecting skills in cases of unclear requirements.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing scripts with Unix, Python, etc.
• Strong expertise in implementing ETL pipelines using Python and Snowflakes Snow SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Fivetran and Vizient CDB for building data ingestion pipelines.
• Ability to lead discussions on database requirements, data modeling, normalization, and query optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and architecting skills.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
