Data Engineer - RIT Solutions : Job Details

Data Engineer WLK Westlake, TX. Onsite 2 weeks per month Must Have Skills:

• 6+ Years of Data Engineering (DB2, PostgreSQL)
• SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and shell scripting languages, (50% PostgresSQL, 30% python, 20% shell scripting). Interview will include complex SQL query coding challenges as well as PostgreSQL and shell.
• Must have experience working with ETL and streaming tools and processes (Kafka is preferred, but would consider other tools as well, ie: Adeptia or Alteryx)

• Financial industry experience
• Experience working with an Intelligence unit or Cyber Fraud team
• DB2, Snowflake, Oracle, MongoDB, Redshift

• This team is focused on protecting Fidelity assets (clients, customers, shareholders, etc) through advanced analytics and solutions that help to prevent and detect fraud. They also focus on surveillance analytics to signal risk in real time. This role will focus on database development and writing/optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures. Will create database objects, implement data pipelines/integrations, and monitor database performance. They are moving from Moving from DB2/Stored Proc to Python with heavy SQL.
