Data Engineer - Virtual : Job Details

Vaco has partnered in the recruitment for a Data Engineer to join a highly visible BI product team for a global financial services company based out of North Carolina.This role will work with the cross collaboratively to accurately capture stakeholder requests and system specifications and translate them into engineering artifacts, which typically include design specifications, source code, test scripts and test results. This is a high visibility role.Role: Data EngineerExperience level: 5-7 yearsLocation: HYBRID onsite in either Raleigh, NC or Greensboro, NCCompensation: $125,000 – 130,000 + 15% bonusRequired Experience:

• Data Engineering
• Snowflake
• Strong SQL knowledge and hands on experience working with structured & semi-structured databases like SQL server, DB2 & Mongo.
• Experience in developing reports, preferably using Power BI.
• Experience in ETL using SSIS or similar.

Nice to Have Experience:

• Cognos or Power BI
• SQL Server
• SSIS
• Data Modeling (DMV, Kimball, etc.)
