Role: Data Engineer Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite) Primary Skills • MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Postgres, SQL DBA Specialization • Database & Middleware Support: Engineer, Network Job requirements Job Responsibilities: 7+ years' experience • Lead/expert just with druid expertise. The person should be able to support and fix druid DB/config issues. Should be able to optimize Druid exp. on a large scale setup rather than just lab setup. • Build pipelines to ingest batch and realtime data using Flink • Designing and implementing Druid clusters: The developer/admin is responsible for designing the data schema, selecting the appropriate Druid nodes, and configuring the cluster to ensure optimal performance. • Developing and deploying Druid data pipelines: The developer/admin must create data ingestion pipelines that can effectively stream data into Druid, process data in real-time, and store the data in the Druid data store. • Managing and optimizing Druid performance: The developer/admin is responsible for monitoring Druid clusters and identifying any performance issues. They must make adjustments to optimize the system and ensure efficient data processing. • Troubleshooting and debugging: The developer/admin must be able to identify and resolve issues that arise in the Druid system, including network connectivity issues, data ingestion errors, and system crashes.
