Qualifications:

Three years of experience with data entry and software management or the equivalent.

Job Description:

The Gift Processor reports directly to the Director of Advancement Services and serves as the primary team member for receiving and accurately entering contributions to the Geneseo Foundation. This is a full-time positions that can be performed in a hybrid work environment with the potential for fully remote work after a two month training period.

Job Duties:

  • Performs the Advancement Services daily gift processing data entry, including monitoring mail donations through the lock-box and securing donations in the safe.

  • Manages the Advancement Services data entry from updated demographics, obituaries, announcements, articles and data feeds.

  • Supports the Advancement Services receipting and acknowledgment process.

  • Works closely with the full College Advancement team to maintain communication and contact with all types of Geneseo constituents.

  • Participates in weekly Advancement Services staff meetings to discuss overall progress toward a more collaborative approach, cross-training progress, new projects, needs for additional or ongoing support training, and alumni and student projects.
