AP Professionals has partnered with a local manufacturing company in search of a Data Entry/Inventory Specialist. The Data Entry/Inventory Specialist, reporting to the Production Operations Supervisor, plays a key role in maintaining and managing accurate production data across multiple ERP systems. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and effective collaboration with various departments to ensure data accuracy, streamline production planning, and support comprehensive reporting.
Multiple shifts available, $25-30/hour, depending on experience, skill, and shift. This is an onsite role.
Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate production data across multiple ERP systems.
- Verify and ensure the accuracy and consistency of production data entered into ERP systems.
- Collaborate with production, supply chain, and finance teams to collect and validate data.
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute daily activity and production reports to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure the integrity of production data by identifying and resolving discrepancies; report trends and concerns to the Production Operations Supervisor.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Provide assistance with production planning and scheduling tasks.
- Perform a detailed and thorough shift handoff to maintain workflow continuity.
- Maintain accurate documentation and standard operating procedures for production data management.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and regulations, including OSHA standards and applicable local, state, and federal guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Be available to work flexible hours as needed to meet operational demands.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in managing data entry, data integrity, and reporting.
- Expertise in using ERP systems such as Sage X3, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proficient in general computer tasks, including email, scheduling, and file organization.
