Description A leading organization in the Manufacturing industry based in Edina, Minnesota is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, providing the chance to become a permanent member of our dynamic team. As a DataEntry Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of purchase orders and related tasks. Your responsibilities will include reviewing incoming purchase orders, filing quote packages, inputting orders into our company system, tracking order progress, and maintaining open communication with customers. This position is located in Edina and offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth. Key Responsibilities: Review and verify all incoming purchase orders for accuracy and completeness. Organize and maintain quote packages, ensuring all required documents are filed correctly. Input purchase orders into our company system, ensuring accurate data entry. Track the order process, from quoting to the creation of purchase orders. Proactively follow up with customers, acknowledging order receipt, providing updates on order status, and checking on production progress. Receive, monitor, and process customer orders in a timely and efficient manner. Requirements Qualifications: Previous experience in data entry, order processing, or a related role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Proficiency in using computer systems and data entry software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively. A proactive and customer-oriented approach to work.
