Job Title: Data Entry Specialist

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to join one of our nonprofit clients on a temporary basis with the potential of extending/converting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate and efficient data entry and maintenance within a donor management system. This role plays a vital part in ensuring data integrity, supporting effective communication with donors, and enabling accurate reporting for fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and update donor information into the CRM system.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date donor records in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Process donations, pledges, and reconcile records with relevant teams.
- Generate and send acknowledgment letters and donation receipts within established timelines.
- Perform other data-related tasks as needed.
Required Experience & Skills:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in a non-profit environment.
- Hands-on experience with Raisers Edge or comparable donor management/CRM software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Basic understanding of data privacy regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in non-profit fundraising or development.
- Familiarity with additional CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of tax receipt and donor acknowledgment processes.
