Job Description :

Job Type Full-time Description Job Purpose: To perform order entry and billing functions and serve as a specialist for other computer entry functions. Essential Functions:

  • Performs the customer order management function including EDI, order entry, credit memos and billing. Ensures that all orders received are entered into the order entry system and that all shipments are billed and accounted for.
  • Maintains Excel registers for accounts receivable and invoicing.
  • Sorts, files and distributes printed output to the appropriate areas.
  • Assists in performing system backup procedures regularly according to a predetermined schedule.
  • Keeps the computer equipment clean and performs other maintenance functions as required.
  • Assists in maintaining an adequate supply of appropriate stock (e.g.; paper, forms, toner, etc.) in work area.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent education.
    Physical:
    • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and use arms/hands to reach, finger, handle or feel, talk and hear for 8 hours or more per day and includes reading, filing and typing/keyboarding.
    • Must be able to occasionally lift/or move up to 10 pounds.
    • Must have close vision and the ability to adjust focus to work.
    • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
    Mental:
    • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Must have the ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written documents.
    • Must be able to perform mathematical skills such as: addition, subtractions, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; and ability to compute discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
    • Must have ability to deal with problems involving multiple abstract and concrete variables in varying situations.
    • Must be able to handle information of a confidential nature.
    • Requires organizational and quantitative skills.
    Technical:
    • Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and department rules.
    • Basic knowledge of office calculators and computer data entry procedures.
