Data Governance Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Governance Manager to lead our organization's data governance initiatives. This role will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of data across the enterprise, enabling seamless integration, reporting, and decision-making. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our data ecosystem, including ServiceTitan, Intacct, Tableau, and other critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Data Governance Leadership:

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Establish and enforce data naming conventions, definitions, and data integrity standards.

System Integration and Accuracy:

• Ensure accurate data mappings and integrations between ServiceTitan and Intacct.
• Oversee data processes for acquisitions, including integration of acquired systems and standardization of data.

Model Tenant Maintenance:

• Maintain a model tenant within ServiceTitan, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to monitor and optimize tenant configurations.

Permissions and Access Control:

• Define and manage user roles and permissions within data systems to ensure security and compliance.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate potential access risks.

Support Business Intelligence (BI) Efforts:

• Collaborate with the BI team to ensure consistent data flows into Tableau for accurate reporting and analysis.
• Provide expertise to improve data visualization and reporting capabilities.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Act as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and leadership to address data-related needs.
• Partner with the training department to develop and deliver resources, including documentation and training programs, to enhance data understanding across the organization.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance data processes, reduce redundancies, and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on data governance trends, tools, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, and BI systems, preferably ServiceTitan, Intacct, and Tableau.
• Proficiency in data integration tools and methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., PCI Compliance) is a plus.
