Data Modeler - Cedent Consulting : Job Details

Data ModelerResponsibilities:Analyze, Design and Implement Data Models:â ¢ Analyze legacy and recent data usage across applications.â ¢ Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.â ¢ Implement relational, dimensional databases.â ¢ Create data models optimized across different data domains.â ¢ Optimize models for data query performance using best practices.Collaboration:Work with business analysts, data architects, data administrators and database/BI developers.â ¢ Translate enterprise requirements into effective data models.Standards and Best Practices:â ¢ Define, review and document data modeling and design standards.Hands-On Expertise:â ¢ Perform hands-on modeling, design, configuration, development, and performance tuning.â ¢ Work proactively to address project requirements.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.Experience:â ¢ 8+ years in data analytics, data modeling, or data architecture.â ¢ Proficiency in data modeling for transactional, operational reporting, and analytical solutions (EDW, Data Lake).â ¢ Experienced with Dimensional Modeling and Data Warehouse Modeling.â ¢ Experience using data modeling tools (e.g., IDERA Data Architect, Erwin).â ¢ Knowledge of SQL and its use in data access and analysis.â ¢ Experience in remodeling and/or re-platforming of legacy application databases.â ¢ Knowledge of cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure/Fabric).â ¢ Exposure to data architecture implementation on Azure/Fabric preferred.Skills:â ¢ Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.â ¢ Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Department: Preferred VendorsThis is a contract position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
