The Data Programmer and Analyst's key objective is to maximize overall inventory utilization and drive overall revenue for the organization by building & analyzing key performance indicators resulting in appropriate adjustments to inventory.Principal Duties And Responsibilities Inventory Analysis: Develop, prepare and analyze inventory metrics (KPIs), leveraging system data and applicable business unit metrics.Reporting and Analytics: Enhance our current reporting and analytics toolkit, summarize key findings from internal and external market data, and identify actionable areas for our team.Identify surplus and shortfalls of inventory supply, maximize utilization and execute strategy to achieve goals for the business unit(s).Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly trend reports, focusing on inventory utilization, market pickup and pace, points utilization, etc.Contribute to the development of enhanced yield analysis reporting to drive enhanced yield to company.Willing to be cross trained in all aspects of the department to assist where needed.All other duties as requested.General Statement Performs the job assigned complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.Job Requirements Education, Essential Training / Certifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Analytics, or Hotel Administration.1-2 Years of work experience in data analytics, financial analysis, hotel operations, revenue management, or related roles with exposure to business analytics.Skills, Knowledge And Abilities: High proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel and PowerBI.Strong analytical capabilities to review, understand, and formulate strategies based on available data.Detail-oriented, hands-on approach to tasks.Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects is required.Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and drive to achieve goals.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Ability to work with a high level of professionalism.Knowledge or familiarity with Hotel processes, including PMS systems, and timeshare is a plus (but not required).Flexible schedule, ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.Shift: Additional hours may be necessary to meet deadlines, goals and assisting other locations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
