WHAT YOU WILL DO Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross- functional teams to address business issues. May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
  • Documenting and communicating systems and analytics changes to the business in clear, relevant language
  • Validating key performance indicators and building queries to quantitatively measure business performance
  • Communicating with cross-functional teams to understand data anomalies and outliers
  • Developing data governance standards from ingestion to product dictionaries and documentation
  • Writing SQL queries and data visualizations to fulfill ad-hoc requests and ongoing reporting needs
  • Organizing and transforming information into understandable structures
  • Using data to predict trends and perform statistical analysis
  • Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data
  • Evaluating and utilizing new technologies and tools for high-volume data processing
  • Improving processes through automation and efficient workflows
  • Building and delivering scalable data and analytics solutions
  • Working independently and taking initiative to identify, explore and solve problems
  • Designing innovative data and analytics solutions to support key decisions
  • Supporting standard methodologies in reporting, analysis, data quality, testing, modeling, validation, and documentation
WHAT YOU BRING You should have a Bachelor's degree and minimum 8-9 years of directly relevant work experience. Extensive SQL, data analysis, statistics, and data visualization skills are required. Strong communication and ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights is essential.
