CTG is seeking to fill a Data Scientist – Artificial Intelligence opening for our client in Manhattan, NY.
Location: Manhattan, NY
Duration: 8 months
Duties:
Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions with a focus on agent-based workflows.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI models.Contribute to all phases of AI product development, from ideation to production deployment.Operate independently in a fast-paced, flat organization where senior team members, including directors, contribute to development as needed.Participate in hands-on programming, code reviews, and project planning.Provide strategic insights and leadership in AI project direction and execution.Skills:
Strong proficiency in Python programming, including experience with AI and machine learning libraries.Expertise in AI engineering, with a proven ability to build intelligent agent-based systems.Experience working on projects in the Financial Services Sector (FSS), with demonstrable results.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative in-office team (3 days per week).Experience:
5–8+ years of experience as a senior AI engineer, preferably in New York.Direct experience building and deploying AI-powered workflows, especially agent-based systems.Track record of successful AI implementations within the FSS or similar high-demand industries.Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
