$130,000 to $150,000 + Equity + Flexible PTO + Benefits

Hybrid – New York, NY

Are you a Data Scientist from a healthcare start-up background, looking to work in AI startup with 8 figure funding, in a role where you'll design, develop, and deploy machine learning methods powered by LLM's?

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding health AI company in a crucial role with a salary and equity package, whilst collaborating with a team of well-renowned engineers.

Established 2 years ago, my client is building a clinical operating system that will analyze patient records, learns physician practices, and triages patients to appropriate providers, enhancing care and operational efficiency, and have already received significant funding that will allow them to complete product development.

They are now looking for a Data Scientist to join the team and to build foundations of data extraction, processing and analysis, with the end goal of optimizing clinical operations.

This is a great opportunity to for a Data Scientist with healthcare startup experience to work in a hyper-focused team, where you will be able to utilise your machine learning expertise, to generate invaluable operational insights whilst receiving excellent compensation and recognition, and ultimately have a positive impact on the healthcare sector.

The Role:

  • Develop LLM and ML methods for extracting insights from healthcare data.
  • Build and refine ML models to optimize clinical operations.
  • Create reinforcement learning models using physician feedback and patient outcomes to enhance clinical performance and AI safety.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders

The Person:

  • Strong experienced working in a healthcare startup setting
  • Stack: Python, PyTorch, HuggingFace
  • Excellent machine learning expertise (both statistical and modern deep learning) techniques and architectures
  • Contributed to successful projects within healthcare analytics whilst using LLMs
