The DSA will work in a collaborative team environment to assess requirements, define data/technical strategy, and deliver solutions. The DSA must also have a vision for proper data management and system design and will help drive strategies around implementing and improving data solutions. In addition, the DSA should have a strong ability to explore new tools and pilot POC/POV and new solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform required due diligence and define/design data strategy/architecture that aligns with business objectives, ensuring data integrity, availability, and securityDesign and establish data management frameworks, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and retrieval processes that support operational and analytical needsDesign and establish data integration patterns including third-party SaaS integration covering batch, near real-time, and real-time needsEvaluate and select appropriate (and emerging) technologies/tools that meet the business needsWork closely with stakeholders across the organization, including external teams, product managers, developers, and enable a collaborative data cultureDiscover, analyze, and scope data requirements & create high-level process models to represent processes for the area under analysisProactively research and share emerging technologies and right solution fitmentArrive at solutions including data flow diagrams, process diagrams, use case models, etc.Guide & mentor junior Architects and Data EngineersQualification & Skills Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field10+ years of experience in data strategy, architecture, data integration with at least 5 years in Architect roleHealthcare domain experienceStrong hands-on experience with cloud data solutions, particularly with GCP services like BigQuery, Dataproc, DataFlow, DataForm, CloudSQL, Spanner, etc.Implementation experience of cloud architecture patternsExposure to multiple cloud data solutionsExpertise in ETL/ELT Tools, Services, and frameworks for handling large scale data processingExposure to various data integration patterns supporting batch, near real-time, real-time with hands-on implementation experience including Tools, API, pub/sub, etc.Hands-on third-party integration experience with Salesforce, etc.Experience with Microservices architectureUnderstanding of AI and machine learning frameworksProficiency in programming and scripting for automationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality data solutionsProficiency with a range of database systems and hands-on experience in data warehousing technologiesProven ability to lead and mentor technical teams in data architecture/engineering best practicesDemonstrated experience with BI toolsStrong interpersonal and communication skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
