Data Sourcing & Governance Consultant - Phyton Talent Advisors : Job Details

Our Client, a Global Investment Bank, is seeking a Data Sourcing & Governance Consultant in their New York, NY location.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data sourcing projects, including business analysis and program management.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and cross-functional teams such as External Reporting, Capital, and Treasury.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to partner with IT in delivering new data sourcing solutions.
• Document and prioritize business requirements with clients and IT colleagues.
• Identify and implement strategic sources for new data.
• Conduct analysis, reconciliations, and testing between legacy and new systems.
• Complete system dictionary, feed review, governance, and data control processes.
• Ensure upstream data integrity via established controls with data owners.
• Prepare and deliver presentations for senior management forums.

Requirements

• Strong project management skills; experience in data sourcing and governance is a plus.
• Proficiency in identifying trends and connecting insights across systems and teams.
• Knowledge of financial products such as options and futures.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and address business problems and solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
• Exceptional organization and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Agile Project Management methodologies; experience with Alteryx is a plus.
