Data Technical Product Manager - Incedo : Job Details

Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Data Technical Product Manager at the Senior Manager level to join our team and lead the development and delivery of data-driven products within our Data Fabric initiative. The ideal candidate will have a blend of product management expertise, technical acumen, and a deep understanding of data ecosystems to deliver innovative solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Data Fabric initiative.

Align data product development with business objectives and stakeholder needs.

Drive the implementation and adoption of the Data Fabric framework to unify data access, integration, and governance.

Champion the shift to a data-centric organizational culture.

Work closely with engineering, data science, and analytics teams to define and deliver features.

Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities.

Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable data solutions.

Utilize knowledge of modern data technologies and platforms to guide product design and implementation (e.g., ETL, cloud platforms, and data governance tools).

Ensure adherence to data governance policies, security standards, and regulatory compliance.

Implement best practices for data cataloging, lineage, and metadata management.

Define success metrics for data products and monitor their performance.

Generate insights to continuously improve product offerings.

Experience:

10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data platforms and solutions.

Proven track record in managing large-scale data fabric or data platform initiatives.

Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of data engineering, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and data governance.

Hands-on experience with modern data tools like Kafka, Glue, Snowflake, and APIs.

Leadership Skills:

Ability to lead cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Experience in stakeholder management and navigating competing priorities.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

Certifications:

Certifications in Agile, SAFe, or related frameworks are preferred
