Reporting to the Director of Survey, the Survey Data Technician is responsible for maintaining AFS databases and providing various other company support and performing Field work as needed.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and process the files and data from field services on a daily basis.
- Use OPUS observation reports to adjust coordinates.
- Maintain equipment database.
- Maintain survey file database.
- Work with drafting department to ensure data accuracy.
- Work close with the field personnel to provide feedback and concerns on field data and documentation.
Perform conversions between multiple coordinate systems.EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in equivalent field or related work experience.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Proficient in MS Office productivity tools with an emphasis on MS Excel, MS Access, and web based time and expense reporting applications.
- Experience with Carlson Survey SoftwareAutocadTrimble Pathfinder OfficeTrimble Business Center.
