Description Position at GroupM GROUPM IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A PEOPLE DATA VISUALIZATION SPECIALIST TO JOIN ITS PEOPLE TEAM. PEOPLE DATA VISUALIZATION SPECIALIST FULL TIME - FLEXIBLE OVERVIEW OF JOBGroupM is the world's largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. As a Data Visualization Specialist within the People Analytics team, you will design and develop interactive and dynamic visualizations to help the People team understand and communicate complex data insights, enabling informed decision-making and business growth. Working closely with HR professionals, business leaders, and data scientists, you will leverage data to drive HR excellence and support our organizational goals. REPORTING OF THE ROLE This role reports to the Global People Data & Analytics Director and will require the support of the other Data & Analytics team member and business leads to execute the data and analytics strategy. MEASURES OF SUCCESS:IN THREE MONTHS

• Partner with technical and non-technical teams to to develop requirements specifications reports and projects briefs
• Analyze data to understand and diagnose issues and create data visualizations that are both informative & visually appealing.

IN SIX MONTHS

• Design and create data visualizations that are clear, concise and informative
• Build and own the automation and monitoring frameworks that captures metrics and operational KPIs for data pipeline quality and performance.

IN 12 MONTHS

• Develop automated processes, optimize data delivery, understand when to re-design architecture for greater scalability
• Develop, mature, improve, and adhere to standard Business Intelligence architecture including processes of data collection, data modeling, data analysis, data visualization, and report design and production
• Evaluate current data analytics strategies and work with team in developing recommendations and improvements

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Design and develop interactive and dynamic data visualizations to communicate complex data insights.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop visualization solutions to meet those needs.
• Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources to create meaningful visualizations.
• Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support visualization efforts.
• Create reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to present data insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as data science, product, and design.
• Stay up-to-date with new data visualization tools and technologies.
• Develop and maintain documentation and best practices for data visualization.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity in visualizations.
• Communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2+ years in data visualization, data analysis, or related field
• Portfolio showcasing data visualization projects
• Experience with data visualization tools and technologies
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database design
• Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics (a plus)
• Data visualization best practices and principles
• Data analysis and statistics
• Database management systems (e.g., SQL)
• Programming languages (e.g., Python, R, JavaScript)
• Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
• Design principles and human-computer interaction
• Data storytelling and communication
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality analyses and insights that drive business impact.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
