Implement systems in Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure,and other Cloud environments. Support operational database in availability, performance, concurrency,integrity, security, and confidentiality of the database instances, database backups and recoveries. ConductSQL query tuning, object management, automation and project implementation activities, such as physicaldesign and installation of database environments and databases. Work on project design and estimation,DBMS product certification, DBMS product or features subject matter expert/point of contact, consultation,direction and guidance regarding database management system features, best practices development andimplementation and standards development and implementation. Setup High Availability Architecture(HAA) environments using tools. Configure and manage ASM (Automatic Storage Management) and ACFS(ASM Cluster File System) file systems for RAC clusters. Install, configure and manage data replicationusing Oracle Golden Gate software & Oracle Streams. Configure and manage Oracle grid infrastructurecomponents. Implement Oracle advance security features using TDE (Transparent Data Encryption). Testand configure new features when new versions of Oracle software is available and recommend/implement atthe client location. Test and implement proof of concepts (POC) in the non-prod environments. Applydatabase/grid patches to the databases as per the schedule to fix Oracle bugs and database securityvulnerabilities. Clone/refresh databases from production to non-production environments, create and managetablespaces and datafiles. Configure and manage third party software to create database snapshots, refreshdatabases and create database backups. Participate and perform disaster recovery exercises. Utilize: OracleDatabase Administration, Linux/Unix Operating System, and Shell Scripting, Oracle Real ApplicationClusters and Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Enterprise Manager and Grid infrastructure, Backup and RecoveryTools. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer willaccept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one(1) year of experience as a System Database Administrator or related. One (1) year of experience must includeutilizing Oracle Database Administration, Linux/Unix Operating System and Shell Scripting, Oracle RealApplication Clusters and Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Enterprise Manager and Grid infrastructure, Backup andRecovery Tools. $143,686.00 - $167,880.00 per year.
